DIY yoghurt ice cream

Joghurteis mit Erdbeere

This homemade ice cream on a stick is addictive. The mix of yogurt and fresh strawberries simply melts in your mouth. If you like, you can also use other fruits. You will need an ice cream on a stick mold.

Ingredients for 8 popsicles:

For the strawberries:

  • 350 g strawberries
  • 1 tsp powdered sugar
  • some lemon juice


For the yoghurt:

  • 250 g yoghurt
  • 2 tsp powdered sugar
  • 50 ml cream
  • 1 pinch of salt

Preparation:

  1. Wash the strawberries, remove the green leaves and puree them. Leave a few strawberries and cut them into thin strips.
  2. Strain the strawberry mixture through a sieve to remove the seeds.
  3. Mix the strawberry puree with a dash of lemon and powdered sugar.
  4. Stir the yoghurt with powdered sugar and salt until smooth. Whip the cream until stiff and fold it into the yoghurt.
  5. Fill the strawberry puree and the yogurt alternately into a popsicle mold, add 1-2 slices of strawberries and let them freeze for at least 6 hours.
